In theory, this reading light is a fantastic product. But many have seemed to have issues with it not being big enough for the page when reading larger books. It is also very flimsy causing it to flop around when moving it. Another complaint is that the film on the sheet of translucent paper doesn’t actually protect it. Scratches appear out of nowhere, making it hard to read.
Yes this book light is awesome in theory, but there may be a better fit out there for you.

This light comes in many colors, is small and lightweight, and has 3 color temperatures and 3 modes of brightness. Many have fallen in love with the Vekkia because of its long-lasting battery and flexible neck.
The clip is durable and can clip on to more things than just books.
On a side note some have noticed that the brightness of the light fades after a few months of consistent use. But, for only $15 it is a good investment, if reading in bed is something you want to do more of.

The clip is strong and can be used for other activities besides reading in bed. Not to mention the long-lasting and rechargeable battery.

Now as popular as it is, there are some draw backs to. The clip is not as sturdy as some of the other book reading clip on lights. There have been cases where it breaks or doesn’t properly fit on the books. Especially paper backs.

One draw back with these type of clip on reading lights is that often times it doesn’t light up the entire page. If you are reading a smaller book, then you should be fine. But with bigger books you may run into problems by having to adjust as you read.

My Recommendation
Drum roll please …. My recommendation is the Glocusent LED NECK Reading light. I have tried many different reading lights, and this is by far my favorite. It is very easy to use and half the time I don’t even recognize it on my neck it is so light.
